Doggie Avenue.... A great place to go for a walk
Doggie Avenue, the owners and staff are awesome. We have to YorkiePoos, Coco and Louie...both of them
love to go here...they get groomed here and yes...they shop here...and so do we, their proud owners...
I just want to say that we have had dogs for many years (all small breeds) and this is the first time that we have been truly satisfied with the care our precious pets receive. We have gone here for almost two years.
Our daughter has an old grumpy maltese that goes here too !!! She loves it and so far she has not snapped at anyone that grooms her.... we really recommend this place. The owners and staff take the time to answer your questions and talk about nutrition and training tips, which is helpful to customers I see come in that have their first pet. Great place to buy gifts for pet owners too !!!!

not very nice on the phone
I called to make an appointment to have my dog groomed, and the man on the phone was kind of mean and short with me. I decided not to go there. Then I wondered if it was just me, and I should give them another chance. so I checked their reviews and now I see that I'm not the only one who has had this experience, so I'm going to stick with my original decision and I'm going to stay away. My Doggie Loves My Doggie Avenue
My husband and I have a two and a half year old Tibetan Spaniel that needs to be groomed regularly. For those that are not familiar with the breed, Tibbies can be a little stubborn especially when faced with a situation they don't like. Well, our Tibbie is not that fond of baths and scissors. Also, she is very independent (no separation anxiety whatsoever), but she does not like being in unfamiliar surroundings. I am so glad we found My Doggie Avenue. Paulo and Jose are always loving with their dogs and respectful with their clients. I've never asked to watch our dog be groomed, since I believe that could cause her to act out more, but I can tell our Tibbie is well cared for by the way she acts once we get her back home. She is not only beautiful (with cute bows in her hair), but immediately starts playing with her toys (which is a sign that she's very happy). Neither my husband nor I have had a single bad experience at My Doggie Avenue. They have a proven track record with me, and I trust they will continue to provide me with excellent service. The prices for grooming are reasonable, and the store is filled with an amazing assortment of unique items. It's not the place to shop for everyday dog items, but they do carry a large variety of medium to high end merchandise designed for spoiling your pooch. Now, I just need to convince my husband that our dog does get cold in the winter, so I can buy her a cute sweater from My Doggie Avenue. Not Recommended....
This store is very overpriced. They have nice merchandise though. I was not impressed with the people who ran the store. They seemed to be more pleasant and attentive with the people they knew and also who were purchasing their puppies. We were ignored for a long time when we needed some information about something they were selling. The place is pretentious. There are other places to shop at in the Burbank area that are more reasonable and have the same merchandise, without the rudeness. I would not recommend this place Read more at losangeles.citysearch.com Cons: Too Expensive, pretentious...service not good....
